You may have seen a new piece of technology at some of our branches. Here's everything you need to know about our new ITMs.

Our new Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) are popping up at each of our branches. These ITMs are designed to improve your banking experience and make your transactions quicker and easier than ever before.

 

What is an ITM?

An ITM is a modern solution that combines the convenience of an ATM with the personal service of a live teller. You’ll have access to a wide range of services, similar to those available at a drive-up teller window, but with a few extra benefits:

  • User-friendly: Enjoy a smooth and easy-to-use interface for almost all of your banking needs.
  • Convenient Access: Our ITMs are set up at the drive-thru, so you don't need to exit your vehicle!
  • Personalized Service: Connect with our friendly video tellers, who are all based locally in Fife Lake.
  • Efficiency: Handle a wide variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and more—all with just a few taps on the screen.

What Can ITMs Do?

ITMs CAN:

  • Deposit checks
  • Cash checks
  • Make cash withdrawals up to $2,500
  • Deposit cash up to $2,500
  • Offer member’s their balances
  • Transfer between accounts
  • Process loan/credit card payments
  • Process shared branching deposits/withdrawals/transfer (ID scan required)
  • Answer simple account inquiries
  • Open sub accounts only
  • Give conditional credits
  • Reverse NSF fee (with supervisor approval)
  • Print receipts with balances/add text to receipts
  • Exchange bills
  • Transfer calls to another ITM representative
  • Take US Treasury checks up to $500 (with supervisor approval)
  • Look-up accounts using debit cards/DLs/names/acct numbers

ITMs CAN'T:

  • Process non-member "On-Us" checks
  • Print money orders, cashier’s checks, or transaction histories
  • Balance checkbooks
  • Take in or give out any coin
  • Give out 10s or 100s
  • Process any service on debit cards (reset pin, print, order, limit increase, etc.)
  • Process wires
  • Close accounts
  • Handle fraud disputes
  • Take non-endorsed checks
  • Give out suckers, dog treats or pens
     

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the ITM the same as an ATM?

A: No, the ITM offers much more! While it functions as a regular ATM, it also allows you to interact live with a local video teller who can assist with most in-branch teller services.

 

Q: Will the ITMs replace FAFCU staff?

A: No way! While some of the ITM functions are the same as in-branch staff, it won't replace the real humans that are part of who we are. The ITMs will actually create even more positions within the credit union!

 

Q: Are the ITM Representatives local?

A: Absolutely! You’ll be connected via video to one of our friendly tellers located in Fife Lake. You’ll receive the same personal service you’re used to in the branches.

 

Q: What services can I access through the ITM?

A: You can make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, and more. The ITM can handle most transactions you would do with a teller, but with the convenience of a drive-thru.

 

Q: What are the ITM hours?

A: The ITM offers live representatives during our regular business hours, and also extended hours with standard functions that are normally offered with an ATM.
