Calling All Trailblazers!

Trailblazers is FAFCU's commitment to teach our youngest members how to manage their money.

It’s never too soon to start learning money management skills. With accounts for children & teens, Forest Area Federal Credit Union’s youngest members learn the tools to become financially responsible adults.

Scouts: 0-12 Years Old

All deposits made will earn interest.
FAFCU will match the first deposit up to $20 at enrollment.
*Special Youth CD promotional rates (7%, 12-month CD with $500 max deposit)
All Youth Members receive a birthday card & gift from their branch during the month of their birthday.
Scouts earn $20 when they make 5 deposits of at least $20 per deposit (Maximum of one per month).
Scouts will receive their own piggy bank or wallet just for enrolling and a gift for each deposit of $10 or more, up to once per week.
Access to exclusive My First Nest Egg app, website, and financial education materials.
All youth account holders will receive e-statements, quarterly statements, and have account access through Shared Branching locations.
Parents and children may have joint access to accounts in online banking and mobile app.

Rangers: 13-17 Years Old

All deposits made will earn interest.

Scholarship opportunities for High School Seniors.
All Youth Members receive a birthday card & gift from their branch during the month of their birthday

Zogo app for financial education and fun! Play and earn real gift cards!
Parents and teens may have joint access to accounts in online banking and mobile app.

We are thrilled to introduce a new chore, allowance and financial education app for kids: My First Nest Egg! This free app for our Youth Account members is designed to teach children valuable financial skills that they will carry for life. We believe that it is essential to start teaching kids about money at a young age, and this app makes it easy and fun!

Fun chore and allowance games
Parental controls to monitor your child's progress
